Scholastic Inquiry Observation Scale

Scholastic Inquiry Observation Scale is an observational instrument designed to measure students’ levels of participation in inquiry processes. The instrument is divided into three subscales and comprises 17 items across these subscales. The response format is based on an evaluation of students’ participation and is categorised as: none, observation, participation, facilitation and initiation.
