General Self-Esteem Questionnaire

Self-esteem is a unidimensional construct that measures an individual’s self-esteem, regardless of context or background. The instrument was developed by Rosenberg, and consists of 10 items. Items 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9 are negatively worded. Responses use a 4 point modified Likert scale ranging from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree.
